When making this piece I was thinking about the anthotype process and how the physical paper is unable to be permanently fixed. The image will eventually fade and will become illegible the longer it is exposed to light.

A common sign,  with the phrase “Everything Must Go” acts as a double entendre that references the inevitable breakdown of the  anthotype image as well as the more metaphysical and perhaps literal notion that everything living will eventually succumb to death.
